Well, the end has finally come!

First off, we would like to thank everyone who entered stories and everyone who helped to spread the word about the contest and encourage writers to enter.

A big thanks also goes out to the readers. Without readers to read and review the stories, virtually no one would continue writing fanfiction today.

By request, we've decided to push back the entry dates for the contest by one month. So if you were considering writing a story or have already started one, you've got a little more time to do so now.

About the Contest

What is the Unsolved Mysteries contest all about?

History is riddled with mysteries. Who built the pyramids? What really happened in Area 51? Did Mrs. O’Leary’s cow really start the Great Chicago Fire? Were vampires responsible for the disappearance of the “Mary Celeste”?

Tell us your ideas to explain how members of the supernatural community were actually responsible for these unsolved mysteries and covered it up or got away with it. Maybe Big Foot was actually a Were. Or maybe Bill was the infamous Jack the Ripper. Was the Trojan War actually started by supernatural creatures vying for the love of the beautiful Fairy, Helen? Just how were the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World made? The field of ideas is wide open. Just tell us what you think the “real” story was.

How do I participate?

Simple. Find a great, unsolved mystery or phenomenon. Or even take a great story and tell us what “really” happened. It’s that simple. Just make sure it has Supes!
